In the wake of my accurate report on Thursday night, forces have been unleashed in what is now an epic face-off between the forces of Joe Biden and Team Pelosi, two old, dear friends who share a passionate belief that the prospect of another Trump term in the Oval Office poses an existential threat to the United States and the world.

And yet they fundamentally disagree about what to do about the threat, here as July rounds the bend and November can be seen, clearly, in the distance.
