NOW PLAYING
A new episode of “Next Up” is now available!
I kicked off the show with my reported monologue, diving headfirst into five red-hot political wars—from Rahm vs. the left to Trump vs. Murdoch—and the drama is very real.
Then I unpacked brand-new NYC mayoral polling with David Burrell and John Podhoretz: Could Andrew Cuomo actually take down Zohran Mamdani, the Gen Z hero giving James Carville heartburn?
And later, Ben Ferguson joined me to break down Hunter Biden’s wild new claims (Ambien! Crack! Clooney!) and the identity crisis tearing the Democratic Party apart—plus, yes, we did celebrate the (un)expected return of Ted Lasso.

New Poll: NYC Mayoral Race
A new Wick poll conducted in partnership with “Next Up” surveyed 500 likely New York City voters from July 18–20 and shows Zohran Mamdani with an early lead in the crowded 2025 mayoral race, buoyed by perceptions that he champions working families and challenges the status quo.
But the contest remains fluid, with Mamdani’s position tight in a head-to-head matchup with Cuomo and concerns about his ideology, experience, and policies leaving room for a realignment that could change the outcome.
The survey shows it would require some big changes for the race to competitive — but it serves as a roadmap to understanding what those changes would need to be.
If you are interested in the race as spectator or participant, this poll is for you!
