RICHARD GRENELL
MONDAY, JUNE 24, 6PM ET
This will be a unique opportunity to talk about foreign policy with Richard Grenell, former U.S. Ambassador to Germany and acting director of national intelligence, who is also one of Donald Trump’s top national security advisers.
This will be a chance to hear Grenell’s substantive views on foreign policy hotspots around the world.
Grenell has been much in the news lately, meeting with Arab-American leaders on behalf of the Trump campaign in Michigan; helping to broker Trump’s appearance before the Libertarian Party convention; and getting a profile in the New York Times (“To his supporters, Mr. Grenell is a loyal, tireless messenger for Mr. Trump who transmits the former president’s demands with an efficient bellicosity that stifles naysayers.”).
He's also a Log Cabin Republican leader who is helping to organize a second fundraiser headlined by Melania Trump, this one at the family residence in Trump Tower on July 8 (per Politico), a rare foray into politics by the former first lady and a testament to Grenell’s closeness to both Trumps.
