Here is the complete 2WAY episode from Wednesday exploring the Republican speculation about Michelle Obama replacing Joe Biden as the Democrats’ presidential nominee and looking at the GOP efforts to denigrate Taylor Swift.
Lots of great voices, including Alice Stewart, Michael Smerconish, Greg Kelly, and many more, in this one, discussing all aspects of both storylines
Here is one of my favorite moments of the whole episode – Newt Gingrich, a no-longer-secret Swiftie, making the case that Republicans should leave her alone, and demonstrating striking knowledge of everything Taylor and Travis:
When it comes to this romance, Speaker Gingrich says “yes.”
And here is Speaker Gingrich on the Michelle Obama theory:
My bottom line on the Obama matter: Republicans persist because they
1. Can’t believe Democrats will nominate Joe Biden, who they think can’t win the election (and they believe the Democrats believe that too…).
2. Think there’s no way Democrats will turn to Kamala Harris if Biden doesn’t run.
3. Think Michelle Obama is the only person who could push Harris out of the way and unite the party.
As I said, there are lots of wonderful points of view in the episode, and I recommend the whole thing to you.
I think you will agree that the group lived up to the 2WAY promise and had a conversation like no other.

Up until now, Bill Bradley has had three extraordinary careers, as a basketball player, politician, and businessman.
With the debut of his new film, “Rolling Along,” on Max today, he has added two more vocations: actor and filmmaker.
In order to encourage you to experience this movie, I am holding another contest connected to the launch.
Everyone who enters will be my guest for a special event with Senator Bradley and Bob Costas online over Zoom on Tuesday, February 13 from 6-7PM ET, where Senator Bradley will take your questions and share stories with people who have been a part of his epic life.
To be eligible to join the Zoom and win a free, one-year Mario-tier membership in Concierge Coverage (a $4,800 value), answer these two questions about the movie:
1. About whom does Senator Bradley tell a story involving forgiveness starting around 48:45 of the film.
2. What does the handwritten campaign sign in the lower right-hand corner say at 1:21:07 of the film?
Send your two answers to markhalperintalk@gmail.com
You can enter anytime between now and February 12.
If you’re not a Max subscriber, you can visit this link to sign up and view the film.
Don’t miss out on this chance to become a Mario for free for the rest of the presidential election year!
