Here is a ballpark hierarchy of how news could be covered now:
Instead:
And:
HALPERIN SAYS: Neither shocking nor surprising.

Breaking point, turning point, both, or neither?
HALPERIN SAYS: Chris Krebs is poised to pass Mary Trump, Anonymous, both Vindman brothers, Rachel Maddow, the entire Lincoln Project, Rick Bright, and Anthony Scaramucci as the Ultimate Resistance Fighter. The support from Republican members of Congress is striking, as is the Trump reaction.

Wowza yowza:
HALPERIN SAYS: Based on this poll, the latest TV ads, and my reporting, I am revising and extending my view of the Georgia races: Democrats could in fact win them both, which would, uhm, be a game-changing big deal.
However, before we fully revise and extend, let’s wait until Republicans can go full-throated with their “don’t give PelosiSchumerSandersWarrenAOCBidenHarris unified control” argument after the presidential race is effectively conceded.

HALPERIN SAYS: Actually, the relative quiet on the part of progressives to these picks suggests Biden is going to be given a lot more running room from the left than some had thought.
Also, please remember that Joe Biden thinks of friends who are or have been lobbyists as “friends” not as “lobbyists.” This will become an increasingly important fact in the weeks and months ahead.

Hear Martha MacCallum set up her segment with Senator Dan Sullivan with an introduction that brings Tuesday’s Wide World of News alive, complete with clever production and name checks:
****
HALPERIN SAYS: As Halperin has said before, members of Congress have no clue how to regulate Big Tech. Like, NO CLUE, about either what to do or how to do it.
